On the streets of Marseille..

I have been in Marseille for exactly 15 days now. Apparently I am here on an exchange programme to study management. But I believe there is nothing as "study of management" per se, so effectively I dont have to study anything. So what do i do here? If you take the doing as time spent doing some thing , most of the time I wander on the streets of Marseille. To what end many would ask. Well.. just look around.Hit my mind with all pictures, sounds and "the feel" on the streets to frame a mental image.. Well I am trying to find a picture which will be in my mind when everything else is gone.When my mind says "Marseille" ,it will define the city for me.

So far...

I am waiting for my bus 83 , looking at the beautiful blue Mediterranean sea dotted with white sail boats and a small grey islands, the strong wind from the sea disheavelling my hair and the buzz of "Le Mistral" snuffing all other sounds from my ears. While I waited my eyes wander to a lady waiting next to me. She wears a white woolen cap covering her long black hair stacked carefully and a big black shades cover most of her face , a colourful muffler leaves pretty much nothing uncovered. A very stylish long overcoat on a perfect fit diesel jeans and black heel shoes.

She stands very graciously and tall holding a shiny black bag. I sweep a surreptitous glance and think she is pretty.I followed her in the bus 83 . Inside the bus, she stood leaning against the window casually , shifting her weight on her feet, next to me. I looked straight outside the bus at the blue sea but ached to look at her.

The light fom the morning sun filtered through the window to give a halo like effect to a perfect sculpted face looking at the sea with an expression that bordered on no expression and saddness.
